Marc Bonny remembers an idyllic Titirangi when huge trolley buses came around and the beaches were always beautiful. He grew up in the area in the 1950s. His parents were sociable people who started groups for tennis and music. Pictures and other documents passed on to him by his father sparked his interest in the area's history. Soon, he was collecting historical pieces as well as memories from people who have lived there.
For three years Marc, Bruce & Trixie have researched, interviewed and whittled the massive amount of information they have gathered into a biography, Titirangi: Fringe of Heaven.
